Hi!

I'm doing a Colon Cleanse and parasite cleanse to help with digestive issues, possibly candida and maybe leaky gut. I have probiotics that i'm going to use to help heal any bad gut flora and help aid in proper digestion.

However, probiotics are expensive so i was thinking of making my own kefir or sauerkraut? I have no idea what sauerkraut is and kefir is like a fermented milk right?

I am a vegan though so is there a vegan alternative to milk grains that i can use to make the kefir?

Would i be able to replace a probiotic with a daily intake of kefir or sauerkraut or both ?
