My heart goes out to you! You're NOT ALONE- I'm fighting the same nightmarish disease. I just tested positive for lyme- but it was never a problem until I became infected with stongyloids...I was bitten 6/7 yrs ago- I never had symptoms/felt ill until 1.5 yrs ago when my skin started erupting with hidious/painful/festering lesions- this makes me think Lyme was quietly killing my immune system, so when I encountered S.loids they just took over. I've spent hundreds of hours looking for a case where stongyloids infect the entire epidermise- even in areas where I don't have lesions I have what I believe to be larve coming from hair follicles all over my body. This weekend I found something called pelodera strongyloids. This site won't allow me to insert links yet (new user), but please Google it!!! I can't believe Pelodera S. hasn't been considered as a possible cause of what's causing so many of us to suffer like this. Of all the parasites/pathogens I've read about- the way this one presents itself is VERY VERY SIMILAR to what I have- all the symptoms & descriptions are dead on- except that it typically comes from lying in dirty/damp soil- of being in constant contact with decaying matter... but I disregard anything "experts" say about where/how parasites infect people. the "experts" are the reason so many people in this country are suffering- they're belief that parasitic infections don't occur in the US or are limited to animals/immigrants/filthy conditions is complete BS!!! I hope you decide to look this up- if you think (like I do) strongyloids are to blame for your infection, then it's definitely worth your while. Please don't give up- there IS a cure out there for us, we will get our lives back. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, I hope this finds you well and on your way to a full recovery ♡♡♡
