I have had heartburn since last fall, a reasonably new symptom in my war against candida. To make a long story short, I discovered here, the parasite Ascaris. I recommend you research that and see if it fits. I also took a Wormwood , clove, walnut combo and caused them to scatter. At least I was able to verify what I was dealing with, but ended up getting some velbezan to fight them. Funny thing is, the heartburn was different from the heartburn I would get from eating certain foods. It was higher up and didn't cause a bad taste in my mouth, (like green peppers do)
