They can be since medicine can leave your body with Heavy Metals toxicity or other smaller problems can slow your body down Peristalisis wise. Slow bowels means baterial, candida, and parasite permissiveness. I had hypothyroidism that was not being treated when I was in the middle of the old scales and I had all three because my bowels slowed down.
