So, I'm still struggling to find out what it is that I have. I was thinking just ropeworm for quite a while but now going back to thinking intestinal flukes, maybe fasciola buski. I did ICUs protocol with Albendazole and Praziquantel twice with a decrease in symptoms and some evidence in stools (see below). But the symptoms come back quickly. Main symptoms: feeling movements of large parasites in my small intestine area, wiggling/sharp intermittent pain in liver and possibly lung. Other symptoms: new onset dry cough (not severe) x 2 weeks, muscle spasms in right calf, weight loss, tingling in right outer ear.
I was told by a cell biologist who studies parasites that I may be resistant to antiparasitic meds because I have an underlying bacterial infection. Wondering if I should be on doxycycline with the fluke protocol or should I follow a different protocol altogether (like the one for strongyloides)? I really don't know what to do next and feel that I'm running out of time. Thanks for any opinions.
