Obesity........Mind.......Stam..

A friend of mine says that her obesity is affecting her mind. This is what she says," My obesity is affectibg my mind. It is giving me depression. I have also noticed that i have started to have Stammering problem due to this. I even cannot concentrate on things now. I think my life is awful. People hate me and make my fun."

Now i cannot understand that how can being Obese cause Stammering and Depression?

Need good explanation.
