whether or not alcohol and/or Iodine will kill parasite eggs in herbs most probably depends on what kind of parasite and how hard/impenetrable are the egg shells
well cloves is suppose to be the one that goes after eggs
if the herb mixture had some cloves in it, probably not to worry
but all depends
