I am very happy to report that I took my darling Pun to my honest, kind but old-fashioned vet. He termed the results a "miracle." Her tumor is gone. She has a lesion in the side of her mouth but she is heavier and much more robust than she has been in a long time.
Here are some things to try for your beloved pets with cancer that I have determined helped my pun and may help you:
1) Avoid shots. There is a titrate they can perform that will measure the amount of protection in the animal. Most shots can last a lifetime. Insist on the titrate if they insist on the shot.
2) Avoid plastic dishes. They can cause allergies. I've invested in a stainless steel fountain that Pun absolutely loves, and in lead-free dishware for her and for my family. Be careful there are many dishes out there that have lead, for example, Corelle. I have only lead-free ceramics made in Europe or Fiesta ware in the house.
3) I am now a huge, huge believe in Homepathics for animals. It is hard to convey how quickly and powerfully they work. You can almost see the fur on them smooth out and get shiny in real time. As I mentioned before, the folks at HAMPL are just wonderful. They sent me a couple of free homeopathic remedies for Pun along with the ones I ordered, based upon the animal history they collected with the order. They engaged in an email dialog and are clearly caring about our animal babies. They are first class all the way.
4) The specific remedies I provided Pun are based upon research I did for remedies for humans with cancer. Here is the "cocktail" she gets twice a day - squirt her in the mouth: a) Flori-Tea (based upon Indian recipe - shows a solid cure rate for human cancer) b) Now Foods triple strength mint flavored liquid chlorophyll. I gather that this oxygenates the blood stream and kills the cancer. c) Udo's pet essentials for cats vitamins. d) Opticell - an immune booster from HAMPL.
5) Finally, I feed Pun only human quality food. Pun is 14 years old and I didn't want to enforce a raw diet when she refused. But she only gets protein and only high quality. For a while it was Cod now she's on an organic turkey kick. She seems to crave protein. But no more of the additives or carbs from the regular cat food (carbs feed cancer).
I still put out the homeopathic "water" and will continue to do so probably forever. I'm off of the diatomaceous earth internal thing but I mix some daily in their cat litter - it helps with odor and it kills any parasites that may be lurking in there.
Good luck and wish me the same with my darling Pun who is getting better every day thank the Universe!! :)
