Look, I am sure parasites can be a problem, just as any other opportunistic virus/pathogen. But you cannot oversimplify all your symptoms to be attributed to parasites.

It's just a friendly word of caution from someone who's been there, done that, although have not come out the other end just yet.

Just keep your options open as to the cause, and definitely keep reading and researching.
