Kind of under the direction of someone. My NB practitioner is very supportive and has helped me a bit with how to get started and how it related to my hair test. My PCP is a DO and didn't flinch when I told him what I had for parasites, just gave me a prescription. Unfortunately, it was $150 so I ended up getting them from Mexico, but I was able to talk with him about dosages,etc.

My biggest help though, came from Onwards:) She has been invaluable in sharing her story and giving support. If she hadn't shared with us here on the forum I may never have pursued the parasite issue and I would no doubt still be very sick. I suspect I will have relapses in how I feel but I am definitely moving forward in a good direction.
