Askbella- If you don't have any symptoms than I wouldn't worry about it then.

A chronic infection is an infection that is ongoing. Not like a cold or passing viral infection which a person might have for a week or so. I had the parasite problem for many years so that would be chronic. Many chronic infections are very good at remaining hidden and the host is not aware of it.
