Well it all depend on what you think what causes people,to become addicted. 

I have explained it at: What causes People to become addicted In other word you have to go on a Hypoglycemic Diet.

You can beat the craving by taking Glycerine. Whether you fail or not, stick to the hypoglycemic diet, because in the end you won't need alcohol to calm you down.
