I read a little bit about this whole Earthing concept and being an Engineer, it made a lot of sense to me. I picked up a multimeter at Lowes and measured the electrical potential (Voltage) on my body relative to the ground. Sitting on the couch in my living room, I measured 2 VAC if i moved closer to a power strip nearby with my computer transformers plugged into it, the measurement jumped to 8 VAC. Lying in bed, I measured 4 VAC. Not wanting to invest in some of the expensive online Earthing products I found a website where a guy made a homemade earthing device, so I made one for myself. http://www.naturesplatform.com/earthing.html

I also didn't want to mess with the grounding system in my house, so I purchased an 8 ft grounding rod at Lowes along with 12 gauge landscape wire plus the copper couplings described at the DIY Earthing website above. I got everything connected up and verified with the multimeter, that I was indeed grounded, because the voltage readings dropped orders of magnitude down to less than 0.0010 VAC with the copper coupling under my bare foot.

Since then, I have been sleeping grounded and am seeing some pretty significant changes in my sleeping & dreaming patterns as well as my energy levels during the day.

I'm interested in sharing my experiences with anyone who's interested but I see that no one has posted on this forum for some time.
