"Andy Cutlers "Amalgam Illness" states that copper toxicity is nearly indistinguishable from mercury poisoning. There is a diagram somewhere between page 30-40 in Amalgam Illness that shows the channels that mercury poisoning inhibits; among those channels blocked are pancreatic enzyme production. I'm currently working on the copper issue."

Since doing NB I have started using digestive enzymes and what a huge difference to actually be digesting my food. I have had so many problems over the years with poor digestion. Constipation and parasites were the worst. I found this article below.

"As well as being necessary for protein digestion, the proteases serve several other important functions. The proteases help keep the small intestine free from parasites (including bacteria, yeast and protozoa). A lack of proteases or other digestive secretions greatly increases an individual’s risk of having an intestinal infection, including chronic candida infections of the gastrointestinal tract. Proteases also prevent tissue damage during inflammation, the formation of blood clots and the depositing of immune complexes in body tissues that occurs in such diseases as Rheumatoid Arthritis and lupus."

I have tested positive for gluten and dairy sensitivety. I never got the biopsy for celiac. Even though I take enzymes I won't eat glutenous grains due to a possible auto-immune response. I do cheat with dairy but recently have become more compliant. I guess you have to weigh the benefits with the consequences.

The last couple of weeks I have been taking a couple enzymes(mostly proteolytic) on an empty stomach before bed to eliminate bilfilm from the intestinal tract. This has been working great but the reaction has been intense.
