Hi Propaul, I've just got on the enema train after doing
series of about 20 colonics from January 2012 till now.

I've read all sorts of posts and messages you've made regarding enemas, and I've been trying different solutions to see how my body would react.

I started with plain water enemas, which I use a mixture of distilled and filtered water, and I found that the water would not all be expelled and I would be uncomfortable and bloated sometimes if the water didnt all evacuate my system, so I read your postings about isotonic solutions and attempted my first soap suds enema with bronners castile peppermint soap.

Immediately upon taking in 2 quarts of soap suds enema, as per your instructions, I had major urge to expel the solution, but it would not leave my system mostly and I was becoming really hot in the chest with the urge to expel but not much coming.

So I quickly filled up 2 quarts of salt water as per your instructions and took in the whole thing no problem, and began expelling the saline and remaining soap solution with much greater ease of relief and the chest pains went down almost immediately.

So, I understand you suggest people try a 2nd or 3rd 2quart soap enema if the first doesnt leave right away/have desired cleansing effect. With the pains I was experiencing I was really hesitant to put more soapy solution in my system, and I was so relieved the saline enema helped get things moving.

I guess im wondering if you think next time I might try attempting a second soap enema? And I'm wondering if the soap should be added to plain water(distilled or RO) or if it should be added to saline water?

I ask this specifically because I find plain water enemas can get trapped and drawn in from my colon, but the saline enema of course doesnt cause this. Sometimes even water from my colonic gets trapped a bit in my colon and absorbed, which I dont mind too much because they are so cleansing, but clearly not isotonic solution, just filtered water.
