CLEW,
Thanks for the photo and your message. I agree, it does resemble the Echinococcosis tape (or some segment thereof). Before I mounted the specimen on the slide, I dropped it in the sink and it was very slippery and difficult to pick back up. The well defined "ovals" of its body make me think its the real deal.
My family has always kept pet dogs and cats. The dogs are indoors and the cats stay outside. I'm 38 and barely remember the pyrantel pamoate the grade schools or doctors gave me when I was a child. Maybe I had one or two doses before age 12. Never had any other paracide treatment until recently. I followed the Tapeworm protocol in CZ:Para:Drugs forum just two months ago. A little scary, but all went well.
Anyway, ever since I was 20, I have been unable to loose the extra weight in my gut. Now my weight is 247 lbs (5'11") and I have a difficult time just loosing 10 lbs when I really try.
So, besides my weight being a major issue, I was diagnosed w/ stage 3 bilateral AVN in my hips after an auto accident four years ago. The AVN pain started out at a 7-9 and is now a mild 3-4. This has kept me more sedentary than I like, although I do walk on the treadmill for 15 minutes at a time, and that helps. Yoga stretching helps tremendously.
I need to keep cutting Sugar from my diet, mainly Cokes - I know. I do well to eat mostly natural, unprocessed foods and supplement with whey protein powder as needed. I used to eat lots of fast food, but that bad habit is much more under control. I enjoy cooking wholesome meals for myself and my family.
I am looking forward to great benefits from supplementing with dichotomous earth. Never tried it, but have tried Bentonite clay couple years back - it was ok. I really think the DE will help alot with ridding some parasites (slice-n-dice 'em, right?), help strenghten hair and nails, and address some minor skin problems (&more).
Thanks again for your support.
