I'm sorry you are going through this, and please don't apologize. I can't imagine that if you have a stray parasite or worm in your milk ducts the drugs and herbs aren't getting them. I thought everything went to your milk. Is it possible that it is hard dried up liquid that could have been clogging the ducts and the drugs and herbs are now cleansing out?

I don't have any insight into what you are experiencing, but I wonder if breast massage would help to open up the pathways? Known to open up the ducts and help increase circulation. You can do a search for chineese massage techniques, I did that when I had a clogged duct years ago and it went away. Nothing came out though, and it did not induce lactation, which I was worried about. Also, I continued to have occasional drop of milk for a few years after I stopped nursing, so it is possible that something got stuck in there, and there is still some fluid buildup, even slight.

The pain and the totally red breast are a little alarming. If it does not clear, you might consider seeing a doctor just to be safe. I can imagine it would be difficult to get an MD to believe it could be parasite related.
