Not really. There were zappers before Rife. See Medical Electric Battery .

I completely understand that. You only need a 9 volt battery, just tap the electrodes with your fingers. When you get tired, then you might decide to buy a zapper.

It could be die-off or it could be by-products of the muscle stimulation itself. The induced contractions of muscle can create a lot of waste products that can darken the urine. One difference is that after using a zapper properly for a few days, the die-off fades away.

I have the use of a TENS unit but have never experienced the results from it that I have from a good zapper. It is great for spasms, aches, and pain.
