I am so sorry to hear the extent of your suffering, and how fruitless the medical attention has proven to be thus far. I had joint pains in the first few days on Humaworm when the buggers hid in my fingers, and ankles. Out of desperation, I rubbed on uber-capsaicin habanero sauce since it was the middle of the night, and it worked beautifully. The localized pains and accompanying rash disappeared for several hours. I felt the worms move out of my joints.

I didn't want to respond only with anecdotal advice given the extent of your difficulties, the overarching pain, the possibility of neurocysticercosis, and the proximity of masses parallel to your spinal column. I wonder if perhaps you might seek a specialist in another field --- namely, medical parasitology--- who can hopefully diagnostically synthesize neurological, gastrointestinal and all other issues. I know this is an alt-med leaning site, but sometimes we need to keep extending our reach.

May I suggest that you contact an MD parasitologist or infectious disease specialist who is also a treating physician in a university setting, i.e., someone working within the scientist(Ph.D.)-practitioner(M.D.) model? I worked at Stanford with many such people, and I found them to be quite individualistic thinkers.

So as not to leave you empty handed, I looked for candidates in Florida as a starting point. I hope these aren't redundant.

The first site also serves as a repository for aiding other professionals in diagnosis and treatment. He/they may know a good person for you. The second is a list of doctors who treat infectious diseases.

Lastly, and most importantly, know that your opinion matters most. You can refuse to accept any more super- parasite producing Antibiotics from the ER pharma-jock and question diagnoses that bear the august imprimatur of a leading institution.

Best of Luck.
