Lay in supine position and rest. Try to get the thoughts redirected away from parasites and toward a diagnosis from the upcoming MRI in that they can pinpoint the problem and do what is necessary to fix this problem.
Do you have whiplash? If so be sure to tell them everything.

Hopefully you will get someone who can read the MRI well and get to the bottom of this.
