When I was doing research on thyroid I read that you are supposed to take zinc and selenium with vit c when you take Iodine as a deficicy in selenium will be made worse as you take iodine. I don't remember if it was explained why. Zinc is a highly important nutrient for many things but the most important for the blood cell production. Are you anemic?
