Colonics are what started my candida. They will drain the large intestine of everything including the bacteroides that are impossible to replace. Toxin trapping fibers such as apple pectin and konjac along with other supplements that trap toxin (activated charcoal etc) and chologagues will work just as well and are less harmful. Epsom Salt is also useful for some.
