Vis - and all-
I have just finished a candida cleanse program - Candidase enzymes, natural antifungals, probiotics; diet of absolutely no sugar/ starches, lots of raw or lightly cooked veggies, quality protein (hormone & Antibiotic free). My spit test this morning was clean (30 min). Up to this point, I feel like I did everything right.
Then I started a Colon Cleanse program, and decided to try Grapefruit-Seed-Extract (liquid form from Mountain Rose herbs) as a 'kill -9' {for you Linux users out there, lol} and to take care of any parasites that might be lurking around inside. The second dose of GSE/water gave me stomach cramps, nausea (no vomiting) and discomfort in the right side of my back below the rib cage. I am not convinced that it was die-off [unless the spit test just doesn't tell us everything.]
I spent 5 very uncomfortable hours but am starting to feel a little better now
I may have simply used too much Grapefruit-Seed-Extract trying to estimate proper dosage (second glass WAS more bitter than first!) - But I also think that a little caveat may be in order along the lines of "GSE just may not be right for everyone."
