In addition to what dvjorge is saying, there are other factors at play here, like I mentioned in my original posts. I have lyme disease. No amount of eating vegan will cure my lyme. I don't know if you are familiar with lyme, but it is an insidious disease. There is a live "thing" in my body, not unlike a parasite, but far more deadly. And parasites are deadly enough on their own. My lyme is in the chronic stage, because the d**ba** doctors I saw over the years refused to believe I had lyme, simply because I lived in CA, despite the fact that I was CDC positive and had numerous positive tests. Their ignornance and God-syndrome attitude caused my health to get to the stage it is at today. My doctor feels my candida was a result of my lyme weakening my immune system. I also have Epstein Barr and mercury toxicity. Going vegan and drinking alkalizing drinks is not going to chelate the metal out of my body. I understand what you are saying and I know for basic candida, it may help some. But for people like me, who have a bit more serious things and levels of the diseases at play, this simply is not enough.
