My physician diagnosed based on symptoms and my response to the initial Anti-fungals. She's a medical doctor who practices integrative medicine as well.

As to Candida protocol, I am taking:

Protocol:
1. Nizoral (finished 1 month, and discontinued)
2. Diflucan (just started for 1 month)
3. Was taking Nystatin, but replaced with Oral Amphotericin-B (liquid compound with stevia)
4. Candida Freedom
5. Milk Thistle (liver support)
6. Theralac Probiotic (not Threelac)
7. Diet (of course) - just found a Zucchini Bread with Millet flour, but otherwise staying clear of breads, sweets, etc.

I also take other nutrients to stimulate immune system and Glutathione.
