I had about 2 liters of water that morning, but I had also exercised and taken a steam room. I also drink 2-3 liters of water a day. The doctors in the hospital thought my sodium had been dropping before I took the epsom's salt, but not sure why. They also thought the anti- parasite herbs may have had an effect on my electrolytes and the epsom's salt pushed me over the edge. I clearly had an OD on magnesium-- in retrospect, a therapeutic dose of magnesium, given how small I am, is probably 1-2 teaspoons.
