Iolite brings some very good things to the table, but the underlying issue is an infectious etiology. Infections will radically change the blood chemistry such as endocrine issues. It is quite possible that the vitamin D, Iodine and raising metabolic rate (thyroid) could solve the problem but I suspect a parasite issue and specifically a protozoa issue in which the ONLY way to eradicate is thru the use of the proper pharmaceuticals.
