i respect your opinion, of course, and will consider all possibilities thoroughly.

if you do not have a background in psychology though, merely reading material hardly offers a complete picture. one could say all problems come back to self esteem, or sex, or any number of things, but this is not always true.

i would grant that an aspect of my relationship trouble does in fact come from a lack of confidence, that i have never learned how to relate in a way i fully understand (very mathematically minded am i) and few people feel comfortable in this position.

i am curious about your view, Bluerose. do you indeed think most issues arise due to unhealthy self conceptions? do you work in the mental health field? if it's not too personal, did you overcome a damaged psyche?
