On the pinworm thing, maybe there is reinfection..the eggs do blow in the dust. The other premis on this thread is that albendazole will indeed kill them. Pinworms in the gut, may be easy to kill with albendazole or Mebendazole. I think that is what Daryoosh is saying.

BTW, I *really* appreciate Daryoosh's input in this forum.

I'm surprised we here are edging in on the other forum's turf :)

We all here have serious and sobering opinions and experiences. So, I want to salvage this thread with some ideas/scenarios for consideration.

1) Yep, its pinworms, and drugs didn't help
a) the drugs were placebos made in 3rd world and would never work
b) if albendazole, they were not chewed up into dust and eaten with lots of fat.

2) Yep, its pinworms, but they are disseminated, and somehow the albendazole does not reach them, and they reinfect the GI

2) Yep, its pinworms, and drugs were taken only briefly

3) Yep its pinworms, and bedding was not washed everyday/ others in household (or at work) were not treated and reinfection occurs.

4) Nope, they only emulate pinworms, and it is something still unidentified, like any of 20,000 (a guess) possible parasite species, like bat/rat Tapeworms or something.

5) It is 'turbo' genetically engineered pinworms that don't die no matter what.

There are many possibilities that need to be considered before we all get hot and bothered.

Maybe microscope pics or something would help.
