Peace is not Hatred or Judgment

R: I was in the room when the men with PHDs from conservative think tanks talked
about how "civilian casualties were to be described to the media as 'collateral
damage.'" This was part of the new dialectic designed to help the controlled
media change the negative perceptions Americans had of war the uncontrolled
media had formed from Vietnam.

"Collateral damage means little boys and girls... pregnant mothers...and little
old ladies... Opposing the bombing and killing... with malice and forethought..
of little boys and girls
doesn't seem as hateful if you call collateral damage...

Standing against killing yellow, red, black and white children...the ones that
Jesus of the Christian faith says are "precious in his sight"... doesn't seem
judgmental to me... but in the new dialectic... killing little old ladies that
walk in front of your Humvee is okay if it is collateral damage. It is not lost
on every returning Vet. PTSD is really dissonance of believing one thing with
your mind but another with your inner knowing. One Vet said he had been in Iraq
for 2 tours and had never seen a single terrorist. He said that when an
explosion went off, they just shot up anything in sight...even though they knew
the bomber was probably miles away...
War is an ugly thing.

I listened to the men from the think tanks and even though there was dissonance
when I heard their words... I went along with it until I died... Dying changed
everything... When I returned to this world...from my NDE, Jew, Arabs, Persians,
Russians, Vietnamese, Atheists, Communists and all of those other labels men use
to label each other were not important. We are "all" God's children and God
doesn't want his children killing his other children. What "was" important, post
NDE, was that "we" and "they" had souls. Their soul was just as loved as my
soul... our souls... Those little childrens' souls in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran
and anywhere there were children made war too huge a risk to God's children for
me to participate in or support... My view is not a popular view but Yahshua
laid his life down without so much as lifting his hand to prevent his
execution... Jesus was a fine example of how men should treat other men; even
though most Christians are not followers of his teaching... It is too bad that
America gave up on Jesus' example and instead chooses to follow the words of
psychopath from conservative think tanks.

I still admire Yahshua's last words as a free man, when he told the head of the
church, Peter; "put away your sword..."
