So, although Dr. Christopher said "porridge," that doesn't necessarily mean we have to eat it for breakfast. We can make it for a treat or dessert, it sounds like, since you mentioned coconut (yum).

I want to do a second parasite cleanse this month to make sure all the critters have gone packing, so, to make my intestines slippery sounds like a win. :)

BTW, a cute story to pass along from the Oompa Loompa department. My sons, ages 18 and 16, have volunteered to be on medical staff for our church's summer children's camp next week. They are packing their first aid and supply kit as I write. Guess what's coming along in the bag? Mom's cayenne powder- as we have had multiple opportunity to see it stop bleeding in a heartbeat. A squirt bottle of MRH aloe vera gel for sunburns (use it all the time). A baggie of activated charcoal to make poultices with aloe vera and slippery elm for poison ivy (it works- we've done it) and for insect bites. Thermal heat packs and hand warmers to use in conjuction with baggies of ice for hot/colds in case of sprains and bruising or any female cramps or headaches. A small bottle of cayenne tincture for the old folks who might have a heart attack. They are discussing whether to take echinacea tincture in case anybody shows up with a cold or sore throat. The issue is the alcohol- would the kids' mothers want the kids taking anything with alcohol in it.

I'm amazed, because a lot of the decisions are being made by the 16 year old. He's over there talking to 18 saying "I know this works, I've seen it." So the Oompa Loompas are picking up more than I knew. Pretty cool.
