When we talk about zapper’s frequency, we forget many times that the original zapper, as discovered by Dr Clark, is VERY independent about frequency, because frequency is not “used” to kill parasites in this design.

As stated in her books many times, (Here, p15, TCFAD) :
“Any positively offset frequency kills all bacteria, viruses and parasites simultaneously” and just before, p14 TCFAD, talking about her discovery :
“Subsequent testing showed it was not due to some unique design, or special wave form produced by the device. It was due to battery operation!”

IN THEORY, sitting with a naked bottom on the posts of a 12V battery’s car should to miracles (you have then a REAL positive 100% duty cycle, meaning pure DC!).
Don’t try, it doesn’t do miracles, and if anyone sees you… (:-O).
After a few milliseconds, the skin will react strongly and increase its resistance so much that you can forget any effect at all.
By doing constant variations of voltage, we can “fool” the skin protection and permit to some current to pass through.
The more current variations (frequency), the best. But other considerations playing too, the best transfert with copper paddles as used, is around 30kHz. Dr Clark new quite well electronic.

“anything from 10Hz to 500,000Hz” will do.
So, who cares about frequency?!

Well, I do, because after the question of “any frequency does the job” talking about the “zapper’s effect of Dr Clark”, you can add on top of this, the effect of a particular frequency and all its harmonics, to the basic zappers effect. Here, depending of your aim, you could need precision. And precision cost is exponential.

The bottom line to make a working zapper is ridiculeously deceiving, when you understand the basics. And you can make a working zapper from free junk material. It will not be a “state of the art super efficient electronic device”, but it will get the job done, if you are patient (you will need more time, more sessions).

Everything else is a question of convenience and how much you are ready to pay for having a better zapper.

Don’t misunderstand what I’m saying. Having choice, there is many very good zappers outside there, I would like to have, instead of using a battery’s car as a pulser. But having no choice…

I had tried the “pulser” method of Dr. Clark. Really hard for the fingers, if done that way!
Needing a zapper’s session and being in the middle of no-where (with a battery), I will certainly try again.

To “jessesmom1987”, if this kind of experiment interest you, here
http://www.emz.maestro-zapper.com/e_zapper_pulser.html

you have an improved version of the pulser, with a frequency 4 to 5x better than the original (5 to 10Hz), and much less tiring.

Going even further, you can make a rudimentary zapper using a bicycle, and receive your zapping dose every time you go for a ride (I’m serious!) for a dollar or two of additional new components. Check here

Many newcomers to this field want to have “the best frequency”, where there is no one definitively better that any other, every frequency having its purpose.
The important think is to start zapping. Everything else will come with experience. For sure, you will end up with many zappers, and using almost all times the same, your pet one.
Why expend $60 or $100 or $250 on a zapper when you can buy a good one for less?
Why everyone having a bicycle dreams of a Mercedes, or a Corvette?!
Inform you, make a personal idea of what are your needs, stick on good reputation names, even if they are not the cheapest ones, and zap, zap and zap again. Be cautious of wonderful publicity. No zapper is a panacea, and bigger, more powerful or more expensive is not always better.
