Hi SOG25,
I can understand your frustration. I think that with this overpowering body odour thing, it’s hard for people to believe it is happening if they haven’t seen it for themselves. I don’t believe you are schizophrenic, like you said, you’ve had mental health assessments and they definitely would have picked it up if you were. I’ve had similar experience with people reacting to me in a negative way and making negative comments but whenever I have gone to the doctor they have told me that they don’t smell anything and that I am imagining things even though I am sure that some of them have noticed the smell. I don’t know why they do this but imagine that it is probably because they don’t have a solution for the problem or even know where to start when it comes to trying to sort it out so they tell us it is all in our heads and hope that we’ll go away and forget about it.
I’ve tried quinoa in the past and I know that it is a good source of protein. With chicken why not try it and see? Maybe if you only eat it occassionally it might be alright. I think that with your diet you just have to try these different foods and see how you react to them. Another thing I have heard is that you should rotate your foods and not eat the same foods every day as that is how most people develop intolerances to certain foods.
Have had a look at some of the recent posts about digestive enzymes?

I don’t really know much about coconut flour and oil but I think that there is information about good brands of Coconut oil on the Coconut Oil & Virgin Coconut Oil Support Forum.
I think the hardest thing about this odour thing is not having much help trying to sort it out. Most of us in this position have to play at being our own doctors and just do as much research as possible to try and sort it out.
I wish you all the best.
