I do believe parasites are to blame. The mucous is there from the damaging effects it does to your intestinal wall. Try L cysteine. It kills parasites and will help with the odor. Try taking 2 pills 3 times a day and if that doesnt work then move your way all the way up to 6 pills 3 times a day. Hope this helps.
