After years of my daughter/hubby wanting a kitten and me (worrying about cat hair and clawing furniture etc..) We thought long and hard and finally decided to get one. We found one that sounded promising and went over to the house to look. We landed in the crazy cat lady's house of the area. The house was so dirty and full of cat hair the smell was overwhelming. My husband (who also is a big suc*** for cats and has been wanting one also for years while I was saying no) fell in love with this pretty calico girl. I felt so bad for the kittens and wanted to run and take them all with me. They all were so pretty. They were all 1/2 Persian mixes. Anyways, so we got her knowing she would get a way better home. I actually wanted to take them all to rescue them but hubby was dead against it as we had no way/means of transporting like 10 kittens.(She had 2 litters) Plus the lady had a ton of calls on them her phone was constantly ringing. Anyways, I digress again.

We took her home and bathed her immideatly in organic baby shampoo. She was so small that blow drying was a cinch. I noticed that she sneezed allot such as on the way home and after the bath it stopped. Also her eyes are gooey at the corners nothing really huge but still oozing a bit.(she doesn't have a flat face just a shorter than average muzzle) So my question is what do you think I should do for the sneezing/runny eyes that's natural? I am SURE she has parasites so I want to give her garlic but how do you give a kitten garlic? Plus should I try oregano oil for extra punch to add with the garlic? We also bought her all clay litter and she tried eating it and my husband read on a cat site that means she has a mineral difficencey.(yes I know clay litter is bad for lungs and we bought a small bag just so she would have what she is used to and then we will wean her)
I really hate to take her to a vet cuz what I know about them is they are Antibiotic happy like human docs. She will be a 100% indoor cat. I am not a big fan of Humaworms products(ordered them in the past) so I am looking more for something I could mix up or make to supplimet the garlic.(if I can get it down her.)

Thanks and I hope this message doesn't upset anyone. Just wondered if anyone had any experiences/advice out there to share. Thanks and sorry so long.
