It was a relief to do the flushes when I could feel the liver congest right back up. You get to where you can feel the stones needing to come out. Telman referred to it as it feeling like a "splinter" that needs to come out, and having the relief of getting it out of there. That's what I felt..but it was short lived because it would congest right back up.

When I started the parasite killing/liver flushing, my liver hurt constantly, and felt like a football in there. I literally could not ride very far in a vehicle without it killing me. My husband turned around and brought me home once, just outside of the yard gate because he could see the pain on my face.

The first couple of flushes, I got sick in the middle of the night, (but got one inch stones)- but hadn't known about the parasites that I later found to be such a problem- flukes of all kinds, dwarf Tapeworms that plug up the bile ducts, and Ascaris were what I found living in my liver. A sick, toxic, backed up liver is like a condo to parasites/bacterias etc.

One of the things that a Nurse Practitioner did think to look for with the chronically elevated liver enzymes (a year after gallbladder surgery, which didn't "cure" anything), was Epstein Barr Virus. And it showed high for chronic/reactive. The Alternative Medicine Dr also found it and the Cytomegalovirus with the biofeedback testing, and I've done homeopathics for both. They are known to hit the liver. Active lyme co-infections have been the thing I've been dealing with too.
I still take something aimed at the parasites for a week during the Full Moon, and for a week during the New Moon (when they are known to be most active), and also do a Liver Flush about 5 days before each moon phase to clear out what the parasites may be hiding behind (it's worked very well doing that), but I haven't seen much for parasites in the past 6 months.

If you take magnesium malate daily, you don't have to drink all the apple juice. With candida, which is also found with the parasites, you probably don't want all the Sugar anyhow. One of the mag malate products I got didn't dissolve though, it came through me whole. They wouldn't even dissolve over night in vinegar. I was using the mortar/pestle to grind them up until the Alternative Dr had me start using the Jigsaw brand Mag malate.

One of the things I've learned..is that you can learn something new daily through all of this. Thank goodness I've had the help of a good Alternative Dr, and people on CZ like Telman and Newport.

There's alot that can be learned through reading old posts on CZ too.

The probiotics are a tricky thing to try to figure out with this.
