I could be completely off base, but the first thing that came to mind when you mentioned what you do for a living is parasite infection, because some people say Iodine stirs up parasites and will eliminate them if you take enough of it. That could give you a detox reaction. I think I also read it mobilizes mercury in the body. Have you done any parasite cleansing? I gotta think cleaning horse's hooves is a good way to pick up bugs.

On another note, my husband really likes the Centerpointe meditation CDs, and I do as well, though not as disciplined as he is about using them. It's that holosync technology that works on your brain waves to sort of establish alpha and theta states, or something similar to what you get with traditional meditation at its best. He's been meditating most of his life and thinks they are really effective for making actual changes in the brain and affecting the psyche in the process. At the least, they are very relaxing (that's what I've noticed). I am still on the first one, awakening prologue. They're expensive, about 200 a pop, and there are less pricey competitors out there. I did a google search on it and the universal complaint about the company was too much marketing of products, but everyone claimed in spite of that, they found it quite an effective tool and so were willing to put up with it.
