Yes I have done tests of stool cultures and so on, but it was a while. The results was negative, nothing abnormal was fond, it is also hard to find out whats wrong because you most know what you are looking for.

I've also check my blood regular couple of times a year. The Hemoglobin and iron - value is often lower than normal when i feel unwell, but thats understandable.

I have tried all, maybe not all, but many of the regular drugs for UC. Like the 5-asa - and these drugs doesn't work on me. Prednisolon and that kind of drug works fine but doesn't heal, in my opinion the only effect is to stop the body healing itself, which lead to a body function out of play. It is excellent in an emergency situation, but not a long time drug.

So, I don't know how Flagyl work. I know that Flagyl works on a lot of anaerobic bacteria, parasites, and so on. I don't know if Flagyl also work in the way Prednisolon does = stop the body from healing!?

I don't know if this is a god idea or even possible. But I want try to isolate and find out and try that Flagyl does in a natural way. Try natural drugs or find out exactly what substance in Flagyl does on me and in that way heal myself.

I think a god start is to create a list of what and ways Flagyl act en then start to try other ways to isolate.

It is also hard to get rid of parasites, it takes long time and the parasites is also in vary kind of stage. I have read a lot of parasites and now I know that drugs can kill parasites but maybe not the parasites egg. The parasites recreate itself on and on? Maybe it is why I can't stop taking the drug - if I do so I am out of service in... four/five days. These are just thoughts, I don't have a clue.

Physics and medication is not my area but know I have more ideas than my doctors, which is kind of worry.

Blastocystis hominis looks very interesting, I have read about it in your link, and it seems that a lot of people have the same symptoms I share. I don't know if I have been tested for it. Maybe not... seems hard to get rid of these small nasty... things. My doctors also diagnosed me with IBS. I will continue reading about b.himinis =)
