I am the same as you about the cayenne.

I used to do "shots" of the stuff:

lemon juice, syrup, a little water, cayenne, and take it as a shot, down the hatch chased by a very large glass of water.

This is easy to do every hour on the hour at home. Hard to do at work, as time moves differently at work and facilities aren't always accomodating, and people see you and make you answer questions!

I did find the shot method very effective though. :o)
