Milk thistle... Get the seeds, buy bulk, have her eat the seeds, grow them for fresh seeds, soak the seeds in brandy, to make an extract. Google milk thistle -- milk thistle is THE liver herb. I used it in the '80's to heal my mother's doberman when she contracted hepatitis. Within 3 weeks of going on milk thistle, her liver enzymes were in normal range. Iodine -- is antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, antiparasitic.. (google Lugol's and iodoral) might help. IP6 ...Inositol Hexaphosphate.
Neem, an indian shrub is antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal...I found a few links via google that indicate it might be helpful.

Liver cleanses, parasite cleanse.
