Welcome to the boards. There is so much information here.

I have used diflucan and my yeast infection did clear up.... for a while... but returned. Diflucan is not the answer for the long term, as your problem will return, just a quick fix or perhaps to get things under control until a proper long term strategy is in place.

The general thinking is that yeasts will continue to morph and change and after a while, diflucan will not work. Also, and very importantly, diflucan is VERY HARD ON THE LIVER. Sorry for the caps, but you need to know this. My view the best thing to do is get your diet and nutrition reviewed and make sure you are eating very wholesome and nutritious foods, daily. Reduce Sugar and white carbs (rice, white bread) as much as you can. Increase vegetables of all kinds and get yourself onto a good multi vitamin and especially mineral program.

Cyle natural anti fungals so your body does not get used to any particular kind; here are some suggestions to cycle:

. Olive Leaf extract
. Garlic
. Oil of oregano
. Pau de arco

Be ready for 'die off'; an unpleasant but necessary reaction when fungus dies in your body. Make sure your elimination pathways, i.e, your colon is clean and you are having daily bowel movements. If you aren't having daily bowel movements, do a Bowel Cleanse first before you start using anti fungals. Also recommended is a parasites cleanse too as these two problems ( parasite infection and yeast infection) usually go together.

Lastly, visit the candida board here in Curezone for some more advice.

Everyone has different experiences in acheiving results so please read as much as you can.
