Hi Pathfinder,

I have a couple of thoughts in addition to what has already been said by others, which might be of some use to you.

There are two schools of natural parasite cleansing, the do it hard and fast school, and the do it slow and gently school, I gather the product that you tried belongs to the first type of cleanse. I looked at it for my own use, and decided against it, for several reasons, I'm older, I had a pretty heavy infestation, and I wasn't sure what type of parasite I had, although I knew I had them.

Because you traveled in Asia, you may have gotten a parasite I'm just not familiar with, or most of us here would not be familiar with, we are mostly in the US and Canada. I think it's important to find out what you are dealing with. Particuarly important with a product that is the quick cleanse variety, Humaworm is a slow cleanse, and it's designed to be used in several stages, it's likely in the process of using the herbal mixture that you will get some evidence of what type of parasite that you have, which is going to allow you to persue it with more accuracy. In your situation, I would definitly pick a more gentle cleanse to begin with.

Secondly, as the parasites die off, they give off toxins, and they contain bacteria and virus that are released by the corpse as it disolves, this makes you feel sick, but it's actually a signal that the parasite killer is working. If you add some anti-bacterial/anti-viral herbs it will help. I am older, and I have problems with crummy older joints, so I take tumeric/bromelain with any parasite cleanse, it's a natural anti inflamatory, and it also is anti-parasitic. It does sound like the weakness and the inflamation are your worst issues, so that might help. I would also take iodine- check the Iodine supplimentation forum, it's an excellent anti fungal, so if your problem is from a fungal infection, which is often co exsisting with intestinal parsites, that will help.

Thirdly, get an inexpensive zapper, it will help a great deal with the viral/bacterial problems, and it will also kill off parasites. There is a Zapper Forum here for more information, or check Hulda Clark s books, she has designs in them so that you can build your own.

I think the reasons that the showers and the sauna are working for you, is that elevated body temperature, by giving hot baths are used a lot to kill off viral and bacterial infections, whatever you have, has released a bunch of nasty stuff that was hiding inside it, so now you still have some parasites that you have not yet done in, as well as whatever they came with, and released as they died.

I know it doesn't feel like it, but you are actually making progress, sometimes you feel worse when you do a cleanse, as it is occuring, because of all of the above reasons, but it is benefical, and you feel much better after your body deals with the multiple problems that occur with parasites.

It also important to realize that some of the better parasite killing herbs are also psychoactive, and cause mild side effects, which may be the cause of some of your physical sensations. parasites have evolved over millions of years to co-exsist with a host, and they use hormones and neurotransmitters to somehow affect the hosts behavior. Although this hasn't been studied much in humans, certainly they will cause problems when you kill them off. There is an excellent book on the subject, called Parasite Rex, which might help a little to explain why it's so hard to get rid of them, once you are infected.

At least you know you have a parasite, that's the first step, they are by nature stealthy creatures, hard to detect.

Julie
