i am a 20 year old female that has been suffering from hair loss for a while now and it seems to be getting worst. my hair is very fine and stringy and you can see my scalp, and i am very depressed about it. mostly i tend to have a thinning scalp near my temples, right above my forehead, and a little at the crown. it tends to be very oily, and somehow very dry at the same time! i'm very wary of all those infomercials you see on tv about products that help regrow hair, like rogaine for women, mostly because i know that you have to keep using them forever. also i want to get down to the root of the problem and this is only masking a symptom. also, i suffer from very dark and stubborn facial hair which is also very bothersome to me. i don't have the money to pay for electrolysis or lasers, and i think these things are also just masking a symptom and not truly getting to the root of the problem. i feel depressed because i feel like an alien. i don't know what causes this, i've had my blood tested and they told me it seems "normal" and my hormones are only a little unbalanced.
i really would like to know, is it possible for me to become a normal woman again if i start following the cleansing regimen and eat foods that heal and live a healthier lifestyle? will my scalp hair grow back? will my facial hair finally go away permanently? is it realistic? will i regain my sanity? lol what can i do to make this problem go away?
if anyone has suggestions or has had experience with this i would very much appreciate any feedback. i'm very desperate to get well and recover. thank you and take care
