Hi all,
I'm waiting on bloodwork re: yeast, thyroid, celiac, food allergies , adrenals, neurotransmitters, etc etc. I (and my doc) suspect gluten intolerance and/or celiac and/or candida. I also think parasites are a possibility. There is so much conflicting information floating around, I'm trying to figure out what supplements to start on.
Also, I am currently back on a gluten free diet, but do I really need to eliminate potatoes, brown rice, and corn at this point? I am ALMOST underweight and eliminating carbs always causes me to shed pounds.
I am currently taking a probiotic (bio-k capsules), and Carlson's fish oil.
What else should I be taking to start out? I know that as I work with my doctor I will be able to get into a more personalized regimen, but I don't want to wait anymore because I know that detective work can take a while.
Things I've considered starting on --
calcium d-glucarate
l-carnosine
grapefruit seed extract
oregano oil
caprylic acid
apple cider vinegar
magnesium
NAG
...so many to consider.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
