I am interested in what Charlie says about sluggish liver. There might be a kernel of truth in this theory; maybe even a big chunk.
on the other hand, I am a doubting thomas, and leary of anybody telling he has found what is at the root of candidiasis and has the miracle cure for it...
Anyway, doing away with the notion of leaky gut seems extreme to me. The proliferation of candida and parasites in the gut, even if it's related to the accumulation of waste due to a sluggish liver, has to create some damage on the intestinal lining, which can become painful if the damage is severe enough--it's my case and I am not the only one with these symptoms on this forum.
Leaky gut is diagnosed thru a gut permeability urine test, I cannot see how you can demonstrate that this diagnosis is a hoax.
About stimulating the bile production as a cure for candida and allergies, there are conflicting advice and experiences on this topic--some people here who have taken herbal sups known to stimulate the flow of bile did not experience improvement, on the contrary.
As far as I am concerned, I am unfortunately allergic to dandelion, artichokes, red beet, anything that has any taste in fact--all the foods I can tolerate are bland--so the bile stimulation cure by plants seems not so easy for me.
