Well, I had such bad acid reflux for the three years I first had costo.
So you know some of my background, I didn't eat well and only exercised sporadically. The acid reflux, I believe, was a symptom of my not great lifestyle. My costo lasted for three long years and I had MRI's, Ultrasounds, blood tests....etc....All that time my doc had me on a host of medicines that got progessively potent, including Gabapentin (anti-seizure) which is an off-label drug for nerve damage. I was looped. I also took an anti-psychotic too which made me worse mentally....
So, it was the day the Dr. told me he was scheduling my gall bladder to be removed because, quite frankly, he didn't know what else to do for me. I thought, what the hell? If this makes the pain go away, rip the sucker out. But I googled gall bladder (gall stones mimic costo and visa versa) and it seems that the gall bladder is a somewhat useful organ! I did have a fatty liver too by the way.
So that's when I decided to cure myself. I stopped drugs. I stopped drinking anything acidic, like anything with caffeine immediately. I also stopped anything with sugar.
I researched and researched and decided to do all the cleanses. None of them scared me. So I jumped into it, first doing a Liver Flush (not the best to start out with). But amazingly my pain started to go away right after my first one. By the third...gone.
I had been constipated for years. I think that Liver Flush was actually a full on colon cleanse. Had I known better, i would have colon cleansed first, Liver Flush next. Then I thought, what the hell, and took a 30 days parasite cleanse.
By the way, my husband agreed to do this too and he had reflux.
Within 6 months neither of us had any more problems. I read tons and tons of stuff. I now practice a very healthy lifestyle and my pain was gone for more than two years.
When it came back recently I was surprised, and upset! But I found, thru a fantastic massage therapist that I was bracing my upper body (very tense muscles on and at the base of my neck) and that was pulling my rib cage up out of place and cutting off breathing.
The minute she nailed that I was better again.
Could be I was so unhealthy that I could not deal with the stresses of life. I'm pretty sure they were inter-related.
Molly
