I meant the fellow posting should be feeling better and bwtter as he is healing, it was not a general statement, but it sounded like one since I did not specify
There is a tendency to make wrong or better yet make oneself right by the tendency to generalize.
My post while sounding general was actually directed to the young man's healing from his broken dreams, not from healing in general
But just as a point, it does feel good to heal
This part you and Ms Bess and to a certain extent O are speaking of is part of the dark night of the soul, some recover others do not
This is a generalized pain or anxiety that may not have a specific event trigger such as a cheating fiance or a canceled wedding,
This larger incidents that are experienced globally by the person, are either a real sensitivity to all suffering (which is accessible by us all) or by a thwarted individualization of just saved up anger and fear that has generalized into a state of being. The poster did not give us any other history, but a trigger event
Let's face it we would all be sad after such a betrayal, and angry but anger is ALWAYS the first defense of ego, and most likely low self esteem, and pain are the arbiter of anger.
There is always something beneath that says "I am less than "because" the trigger event"
So we have teo different conversations melded into one
1. A man is heartbroken because he has been betrayed -twice
2. we have a conversation of a larger global event that has effected a human to such an extent that it is not about any particular trigger, may be many experiences of less than, that has manifest in a Zoe story.
I was addressing the feelings of this one poster not a globally disturbed individual
Thanks for the opportunity to explain this
and from here on out when I post something such as healing feeling good I will be more specific.
