Silver colloid is exacerbating symptoms via the Herxheimer reaction, or die-off. As seen in Candida die-off, it is the dead cell coat of the killed pathogen that actually causes the most allergic reaction and harshest symptoms. The pathogen wants to "go along to get along" like any good parasite and tries to hide out when alive, punishing you when it gets killed off.
