I felt so much congestion in my liver and upper intestines, I thought I'd have some life threatening blockage from moving stones out. I know what you mean about fearing them.
but I've found them to be very safe, if you prepare properly. even with all my parasites, and liver full of stones, I didn't have a problem. there were some flushes that I had quite a bit of pain and nausea, but that was all. and another dose of Epsom Salts resolved it. I've only done Hulda Clark style flush.
I passed a lot of stones doing them. I still do them a couple times a year, but don't get stones out anymore.
but, you can only go so far with flushes in improving your health. they are an amazing boost...but it only takes you as far as it can. it likely won't resolve a parasite problem, but it helps. a lot. and helps for general health, and with me, especially panic. it cured my nightly panic attacks in one night. that first flush I got rid of about 75 stones, and a cup of dark green bile. that release of bile never happened in other flushes. I think it was stagnant, blocked by stones maybe...but after that first flush. no night panic attacks again.
a liver full of stones makes everything worse. I still had anxiety, but this too eventually resolved with more liver flushes, and then parasite cleansing. the anxiety took a while to clear, maybe about 8-10 months.
when I started doing the flushes, it was at a time I was quite ill, and couldn't tolerate parasite cleansing. so I did them with a full load of parasites, but it was okay...they key is get yourself as uncongested as you can to start...that is..get bowels moving well and easily before, up to a week is good. if it takes you a few weeks to get to this point, that's okay...but the more easy flow you have, the less chance of congestion when you move stones out. try to keep diet as close to whole foods as you can, avoiding congesting foods like dairy, meat, eggs, processed foods, flour products.....just do the best you can...you know yourself and can guage how you feel. probably the worst of the congesting are processed foods, flour and dairy...if you eat meat and have trouble not having it, it's not the worst of the congesting things, I think probably you'd be fine still having it as far as flush preparation goes. the main thing is whole foods diet.
many people do Liver Flushes with no diet alterations and have no trouble. it's a judgement call. I knew I was heavily congested and full of parasites...so I took extra precaution..you may not need to.
I also used herbal formula for the bowels (lower bowel balance or dr schulze intestinal 1) and these help. but there are many types to choose, just get the bowels moving well before hand and have a feeling of ease in the digestive tract...relatively, with parasites it never feels right. but there is a big difference when keeping an uncongesting diet and you'll notice this practically right away.
I don't know the different types of flushes, there are many I think...the Liver Flush Forum will have more info probably. I've always done Hulda Clark style flush, but made it gentler using less oil, only 1/4 cup. it still worked. and it's much easier to take and less nausea in the night.
I hope this helps...I know the hesitation, it's just doing those first couple, after than it's very easy, you won't fear them anymore.
