Thanks for this great post.

I think it's interesting that so many people have had tooth sensitivity around OP and parasite cleansing. But, as you say, it becomes difficult to ascribe any side effects (good or bad) when one is trying several different therapies at once. I began oil pulling in part because I was still nursing my daughters and some of the things I wanted to do (like a parasite cleanse) were things that were not advised if you were pregnant or nursing. Oil pulling was about the only thing I could do for a while! (I did do some Liver Flushing and got some grief for that, and I do plan to Liver-Flush again after this parasite cleanse is over because I did not do as much of it as I wanted/should have -- I sort of moved on to Iodine and stopped the Liver-Flush after a few months.) I am going to keep my diary up-to-date so I will hopefully have some better record this time next year of what happened when I did XYZ as I don't have time to read all of my posts to try and recontruct 2007's good and bad side effects for me.

Although, I still think that the only really bad side effect I have had from OP was a detox reaction early on in the form of a huge canker/cold sore in my mouth. That was a life-changer for a week or two! It occured after I started adding oil of oregano (ooo) to my main oil pulling oil. But after it went away it never came back.

At present I think OP (with ooo) has helped me keep a cold away. I have been using flax in the past couple of days for a treat, with the ooo, and I love it. (But as soon as I get to the store, I too am going to get some more sesame -- it is not my "favorite" oil but it is an excellent one, it's cheap, available nearby, etc.)
